I do not have much to report except that I will continue to try to take care of our business quickly and efficiently.
Our regional convention was last week and seemed to be a success and a good time for everyone. It appeared to be smaller in attendance than in the past but I haven't spoken to anyone who didn't like it. There has been some talk about moving the event away from Niagara Falls in the future. This direction, if chosen, may be realistic for 2003 because the current chair (Paul N.) has told me that he has been talking to hotels in Buffalo since February.
It has come to my attention that if anyone does a name search
on the internet, they will be directed to our minutes. Some members
may not want their anonymity broken over the internet. I have
2 suggestions to alleviate this problem.
1) Have the secretary remove last names from minutes and have
all on line archives edited for last names.
2) Have our contact list not included in future minutes on line,
and removed from archives on line.
Currently, anyone with internet access can get regional committee members and visitors addresses and phone members easily.
In Service,
Dave M.
