Niagara Falls - Handwritten report submitted by Quincy A. as follows:

The Niagara Falls Area is coming along very well. More home groups are starting to participate in the
forming of our Area. The Sunrise Group, which I am a member of, started a new meeting on Saturdays at 10:00 am with the same format as our Wednesday Night meeting which brings our Area up to 23 meetings. We sponsored two events since the last RSC. One was a Speaker Jam/Dance which helped us purchase our first literature shipment. We also had a Niagara Falls vs. Buffalo Basketball game which helped our Area financially. I would like to take this opportunity to thank this Region for the encouragement and support to the Niagara Falls Area. It is making our efforts of starting a new Area a lot easier. In loving service, Quincy A.

8. Secretary - Sharon Z. requested a $15 check for rent donation to the Church. Also requested copying and postage reimbursement of $56.55 for March Minutes. Requested cash advance of $40 to cover cost of postage, copying and large envelopes for June Minutes. (After great suggestion from Mark T. to
e-mail Minutes.) Gave envelope to Tracy D. with Alle-Catt information.
[NOTE: All members receiving Minutes via e-mail will not receive typed reports, i.e. RD report, RSC report, etc.]

Convention - Handwritten report submitted by Marsha D as follows:

Closing balance $1,672.47. Two payments were made: $2,500 deposit and $1,764. $1,764 due in July and August with balance of $2,769 due at end of Convention in October. Please encourage your Areas to register, as well as this body. Vendors will be Mr. Bill, Parable Designs, Jimmy G., and Images by Roberts. Offers $250 per night donation. Fundraiser June 25th Carnival at BSC was canceled. Too expensive. Programming Committee selected Rita H. from Buffalo as opening speaker, Rhonda C. from Baltimore as Saturday noon speaker, Vito of S. Carolina as banquet speaker (4 male banquet speakers - only had 1 female speaker at Convention I.), Mr. Bill as closing speaker. Also, due to my work schedule changing, a representative from my Committee will attend this meeting for me in the months of July, August and possibly September. Yours in service, Marsha D.

Lengthy discussion among Marsha D., John M. and members of RSC regarding Convention speakers chosen by Programming Committee. Marsha D. asked for RSC input and/or vote on speakers. Tom D. asked if Region was required to vote or if were only needed to be given this information. Stacey S. noted, from RSC By-Laws, Region is given the information and we do not approve or vote for individual Convention speakers.

P.I. - Bob B. read from attached March, April and May Minutes.

Web-Site - See attached report.

Old Business:

Vote was unanimous for Mark C. to begin as Regional Chairperson in July.

New Business:

11. Susan G. made motion for RSC to meet bi-monthly from 12-3 pm. Tracy D. stated, per Robert's Rules, Susan G. could not make motion as she did not vote on previous motion. Stacey S. made motion for RSC to meet bi-monthly from 12-3 p.m. Motion was tabled until July RSC.
12. [NOTE: Tracy D.'s original motion requires a change be made to RSC By-Laws Article D.1. at page 13. My suggestion is to hold off on change in By-Laws until RSC votes on proposed motion in July.]
