Treasury report for the 2005 calendar year
At the end of the year, our bank account balance was
$2,731.65 lower than at the start of the year. Keep in mind; we
have no reason to maintain excessive moneys in our account.
Most of our income came from the convention which had a considerable
profit. We received no donations from individual groups during
the year.
RD and RD-alt disbursements should be looked at as a combined
expense because their costs are generally shared and we wrote
most of the checks to the RD.
We donated $5,000 to World Services compared to $2,000
last year which was sent in May 2004 from the proceeds of the
2003 convention.

CASC RCM REPORT 01-21-06
The CASCNA met on 11-18-05 and 12-18-05 at the Immanuel
Lutheran church on East Second Street in Jamestown and the United
Church of Christ in Dunkirk, New York. The next CASCNA meeting
will be 01-29-06 in Jamestown New York at the Immanuel Lutheran
Church on East second St.
The 12 traditions and 12 concepts were read. Concepts
12 and 1 were read in their entirety.
The groups that were in attendance gave group reports.
We had 3/6 groups present at the Jamestown meeting and 2/6 groups
present at the Dunkirk meeting. The minutes from the previous
meetings were approved without changes.
Nominations for all positions were made for the upcoming
year. Only one position had no nomination. That was PI.
Voting will take place at the January area service meeting.
Sub-committee reports:
Phone line:
All is well. No issues or concerns. Our average phone
bill is 58.00 dollars per month. We average about 15-18 calls
per month.
Public Information:
Not present at either meeting. Position is open.
Literature:
The committee has not been doing really well as of
late. The chair is having difficulty getting the orders to WSO
in a timely fashion and is having difficulty ordering all the
literature we need to keep the area groups well stocked. We have
a good nominee for this next year. We have also had a debit card
issued to the chair in hopes that he will use this when placing
his monthly orders with WSO. The current literature committee
chairman has used the card and this seems to be the best way to
proceed.
Activities:
The CASC held a speaker jam, Thanksgiving dinner and
a dance on Saturday November 26th from 1:00 pm until midnight.
The attendance was very well attended for such a small area.
RCM:
Report was given for the 11-05 RSC meeting.
Treasurer:
Our current available treasury balance is 301.82. We
have a prudent reserve of 220.00 dollars. We have one phone bill
that needs to be paid. There is no CASCNA donation today. We expect
to have a large RSC donation in March 2006
H&I:
Attendance and donations at all Chautauqua area meetings
continue to grow. The average attendance at meetings in Jamestown
is now approaching 35-40 addicts. This past weekend, the 2 meetings
at the rehab had over 50 addicts.
Old Business: None
New Business: Elections will be held at the end of
this month.
