WNYRCNA Committee Meeting for March 15, 2008

8) Old Business:

Motion rescinded by Bob to form Ad Hoc Committee
New Motion : Commence legal proceedings immediately against WNYRCNA Convention XII former treasurer Melvin Kerr civilly and criminally for misappropriation of funds. Passed - Vote: 7-1-1

9) New Business:
- Motion to request $3000. for seed money for WNYRCNA XIII.
- Requesting payment rebursement to chataguaga $63.56
- Requesting disbursement of $100 for CAR workshop in Buffalo passed
- Requesting disbursement of $100 for CAR workshop in Niagara Falls passed
- Motion to send $2,000 to world service passed
- Earmark $100 for NNJ for donation to help pay for legal fees

RD REPORT

The room for the NEZF in June 20-22, is all booked and ready to go. I will be requesting money for the trip in the May meeting of of the WNYRS. I am sure the RDA will be requesting his money for the WSC in April held in California.
NEZF, WNYRS hosted this years meeting and it was a success. Many said they will come back just to stay there. I started with $100.00 for pizza (lunch) but trew all the yelling and comotion at the last meeting I forgot to get food money for the weekend I spent $56.86 for food so I took it out of the MARLCNA money balance.
MARLCNA as you know we went to. I got a lot of info once again I e-mailed everybody I had e-mails for, two sets of notes short and long. I started with $525.00 with gas, food and one night stay I spent $274.71. I am returning $250.29 - $56.86 = $193.43.
I am having a very busy next two months. Last Saturday the 9th I did a car workshop in Chattaqua All but one GSR showed up but the homegroup members did. They are going to give me there votes in the next few weeks. On Sunday the 16th I am doing the buffalo area car workshop with Crystal. She is doing a wonderful job, thank you. Then April 13th nio-falls car workshop. Nio-Orleans has not asked to assist then but they have until April 20th to give me or Early there votes. As you know the car workshop was a flop and it was a bad idea. All workshops should be held after MALCNA like they have been doing since we became region. I don't know how the came about.
I was in contact with the WNYRC XII tresuer Melvin Kerr. I did this as and addict and a member of region no other reason why. I did this on my own then though this was the regional chairs job according to the regional by-laws under artical IV section A. I have a final report and payment arrangement form Melvin K. Under the theft policy of the WNYRS you will have to vote to except this payment arrangement. This matter should been delt with in the November 17th meeting. Not at the January meeting, It has been five moths latter. So I am going to read both reports and payment arrangements to give to the secretary both original copies just in case terms are not exceptional or if he fails to follow through on it.

As you know my term for RD is up in July, three months after we come back from the WSC at this time I am going to let you know if I am considering to serve a second term as RD. The RDA has a year or so, and as a leader and a mentor I feel it is in the WNY interest that I keep teaching and mentoring the RDA so I when I leave they will be able to teach and mentor the next RDA.
