REGIONAL DELEGATE REPORT
JANUARY 16, 1999

· I have made copies of the "What Is Region?" handout--they are available today for RCMs
· I conducted our Resolution A Regional Assembly on 1/9/99--while attendance was mediocre, the synergy and participation were truly noteworthy. Of our 4 Areas, only the Buffalo Area was represented; however participation included groups from Niagara Falls, North Tonawanda, Lancaster and the Southtowns. Extra handouts are available. The significance of Resolution A must be underscored--the Conference Agenda Report will focus almost entirely on Resolution A this year.
· Special thanks to Regional members Tom, Stacey and Elizabeth for their assistance--also, special thanks to Garland and the "Sharing Recovery" group for allowing us to use their facility.
· I have made arrangements to attend the Northeast Zonal Forum on 1/23/99 in NYC--the sole topic will be Resolution A so I will be well-prepared. Elizabeth will also be attending.
· I am currently making arrangements to attend MARLCNA--2/12-2/14/99. I will be sharing a room with Gail, the RD from NNY and Yvonne, from GNY.
· I am requesting $$$ for MARLCNA today--to be included in my verbal report.
· I still have not received the CAR or dates for the Conference, but have been in contact with WSO.
